Five for Friday

Happy Friday! I'm linking up with Kacey at  Doodlebugs Teaching for Five for Friday.

Before:

After:

I've been thinking about going red for a while, and I finally did! Bye bye blonde, and hello red!

Chapter 2 from this book study linky went up on Tuesday. It's a great start to other great things to come in the book. It's all about dispelling the myths of gamification. It's not too late to link up with us, and I hear the book is free on Kindle Unlimited. Click the image to check it out!

Matt's birthday was earlier this week. We had this yummy ice cream cake from Coldstone. I had to spell something out in M&Ms though. Can you guess what it says?

We finally found a new couch! After the last good cushion gave out on the old one we new it was time for a new one.

This post inspired my series. I started writing, and realized that I had so much to say so one post wouldn't be enough. Click the image to check out my tips for handling the problem child(ren) in a difficult class!

    1. Thank you! I'm still getting used to it, but it's fun to try something new. :)

  2. I'm visiting your blog for for the first time via Five for Friday! I love your color design AND your hair color. I frequently decide to "go red". I just signed up for Kindle Unlimited so I'll check out the book. I read your blog post on chapter 2 and I'm really intrigued. I played around with 'gamification' when I moved to 2nd grade a couple years ago, but I got really overwhelmed. This looks like a resource that will help me figure it out. Thanks so much for sharing!

    1. Thank you! The book has been really eye opening, and has sparked a lot of ideas already - and I'm just getting into the good stuff right now. I hope it helps and inspires you, too!

  4. New couches are so exciting! I remember when my husband and I (then engaged) bought our first couch together. 11 years later we still have it but it's on it's way out when we move into our new home next Spring. LOVE the new color! Red looks great on you! Enjoy!
    Joya :)
